防水材料从基本性能来分主要分为涂膜防水和卷材防水。
Waterproofing materials can be divided into film waterproofing and roll waterproofing according to their basic properties.
涂膜防水分JS系列防水和K11系列防水，卷材防水分SBS防水和丙纶防水。
The waterproofing of coating can be divided into JS series waterproofing and K11 series waterproofing. The waterproofing of coil material can be divided into SBS waterproofing and polypropylene waterproofing.

卷材抗裂和防水性能都好，耐老化但是接缝不好处理，家装室内管道较多，接缝比较麻烦，因此更适用于大面积的室外工程防水。
Coil has good crack resistance and waterproof performance, aging resistance but poor seam treatment, more indoor pipes and more troublesome seams, so it is more suitable for large-scale outdoor waterproof works.
SBS防水主要原料为改性沥青，施工得用高温烧烤（一般用汽油喷灯），接缝处也得涂沥青乳膏，有害挥发物较多，气味较重因此不适合家装室内施工，主要适用于楼顶防水施工。
SBS waterproof main raw material is modified asphalt, construction with high temperature barbecue (generally with gasoline spray lamp), joints also have to be coated with asphalt cream, more harmful volatiles, heavy odor, so it is not suitable for indoor construction of home decoration, mainly for roof waterproof construction.
聚乙烯丙纶防水卷材无毒无害，施工简单一般用胶水混合水泥粘接即可多用于地下室外墙的防潮层，也适用于屋顶，但在耐候性不如SBS卷材。
Polyethylene polypropylene waterproofing membrane is non-toxic and harmless. Generally, it can be used for basement exterior wall waterproofing layer and roof, but its weatherability is not as good as SBS membrane.
卷材防水的施工难点在于接缝，大多数漏水原因都出于接缝处。前些年有很多人专门做家装卷材防水，但是由于家装各种管道比较多，接头处理容易出现问题，近几年逐渐淡出家装市场。
